To the left are hyperlinks that are numbered by District, they are labeled "House, Senate District Links." Under "House" are links to all the candidates for the State Representative. Under "Senate" are all the candidate(s) for the State Senate. NOTE: this site is under construction and not all the Districts have been posted.To the right are "Activist Resources", you may find them useful. If you click on the House or Senate District hyperlink of your choice, you will be taken to table naming the candidate(s) in that district, their response, or not, to our inquiry, any details we think are appropriate and their contact information. Below the table is a list of illegal migration control ideas that were introduced in the 80th Texas legislature. Using this list and the responses of the candidate, you can know the candidate's illegal migration stance precisely. There is an example named "District 0", which we have created to show you how the tables will eventually look. We are the Citizens for Immigration Reform-Fort Worth chapter. We are dedicated to making statutory changes in Texas state law affecting illegal migration. Our goal is to encourage self deportation by creating a regulatory climate that is easy for the legal immigrant, lawful resident or American citizen to live with, but hard for the illegal migrant. To this end we are canvassing candidates for political office and endeavoring to determine their stance on this issue. We hope to get as many candidates as possible to respond to us by February 15th so you will have the information when you go to the March primaries. In the months leading up to the general election we will attempt to list every candidate, Democrat, Republican or third-party and determine their stance on illegal immigration. Our Inquiry form consists of 36 illegal migration control ideas that were introduced (filed) in the 80th session of the Texas Legislature, 2007. They are listed and referenced to the House or Senate bill that they came from. We ask the candidates to go over the list and check the box that most closely coincides with the candidate's feeling about that idea. The ideas run the gamut, from those deliberately designed to provoke a court challenge and a Supreme Court decision, to those that seem to be just ordinary common sense. So, we are not expecting 100 percent support for the entire list. At the bottom of every candidate page there is an Inquiry form should you want to familiarize yourself with the ideas. This is a new Web site, and we haven't received much information yet. But if you're concerned about illegal migration and want to do something about it, we urge you to bookmark this page and return often. If you want to get on our mailing list, send a message to cfirfortworth@hotmail.com. Every time we add something, we will send out an e-mail with a general description of the update. That way, when a candidate from your district reveals his or her stance on illegal migration, you will be able to access that information. This web page has been set up is so that you will have the information about the candidates for state office in your district when you go to vote in the primaries. After the primaries, the information about the winners and their illegal migration stance will help you to make a decision in the general election in November of 2008. I am sending this message on behalf of the Citizens For Immigration Reform. ( You can find out more about them at this URL; http://cfirfw.blogspot.com/ ) They are endeavoring to determine the illegal migration stance of all Texas candidates for state Representative and Senate office before the primaries on March 4, 2008. To this end, they have created a Inquiry form. The responses to it will be posted on a website they have set up. This will allow the constituent activists, like me, who are concerned about unlawful migration to know the your stance on the issue and make the decision to vote for, campaign for, contribute to etc., accordingly.

At the bottom and top of the Introduction page there are links (#Downloadable Files, Inquiry Form HTML version , and Inquiry Form PDF file for printout ) that will take you to the Inquiry form and Cover letter. The Inquiry form contains illegal migration control ideas that were introduced in the 80th legislature in 2007.
If you will take some time print out the Cover letter and Inquiry form, fill it out, put your signature on the bottom of each page and mail it back to them along with a telephone number where they can confirm your responses, they will post it on the website described above. It will be in the form of a table. If you click on the (District 0) link at the bottom of the Introduction page, you can see an example they have created. As you can see, a link to your website will be posted if applicable. NOTE: It will probably be easier to understand the example if you look at the inquiry form first.
You are probably wondering why you should fill out a form for this organization.. Well, here are a few reasons:
1. You will be able to clarify your position further on this issue, draw your supporters closer to you and attract new ones.

The list labeled "LEVELS OF SUPPORT" below indicates levels of support for an idea, with 1 being the lowest level and each number thereafter indicating a higher level of support for an idea.
